Home Sweet Home!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was with cheering and excitement that we rounded the corner on I-90 coming down the pass and into the Seattle area early this morning. We arrived home about 12:30 am with Tires INTACT!! Praise God!!!!! The last few hours of our trip were probably the most exciting as we headed straight into an electrical storm in the Vantage area. The winds were howling and the lightening was so intense each time it struck that it would startle me as I drove. Greg slept peacefully until he awoke to tell me not to swerve each time the lightening flashed. I've never like driving across the Vantage bridge and realized that the storm seemed centered in the middle of the river. I thought of the diciples in the boat as Jesus slept and once again asked for His protection. As I headed onto the bridge deck the wind and then rain hit making it difficult to see. But I used "high aim vision," (something Natalie learned in driver's ed.) and prayed my way across the bridge. As soon as we were on the other side the rain stopped. The wind continued most of the way home. I must say it is good to be home. Thank you to each of you who faithfully prayed for us on our long drive. And thank you to each one who made this trip possible for our Pathfinders. May we each develop a close relationship with Jesus so that if we are called to stand we will have the courage to do so as Esther did.
