Road to the Sky
Well, our drive to Yellowstone was quite exciting. We headed out the main road that was recommended and soon found ourselves heading "straight up," (well almost). Our speed dropped to 30 miles per hour. About half way up there was a look out over the Wyoming countryside. I felt like I was on top of the world. We could see for miles! Then as we continued we hit road construction and a gravel road, ugh!!! Thankfully the truck kept going and pulled us up and over the pass. The hillsides were absolutely awsome, with red rock caverns, pillars, cliffs..... It was like nothing I've seen before. God sure had fun creating our world. The layers of rock and there colors as well as leaning postions are another evidence of the flood. We've seen many different animals on our way. The baby buffalo, elk, and coyotes the cutest. We saw the Loma Linda club in several places yesterday and traded pins. Now I'm glad I had extra pins left over. The place we stayed night before last had several groups of Pathfinders, including the Bonney Lake club. We will see all of you on Friday. We will be one day later than originally planned. Touch base with Charlie for the exact time. God is good, the tires, though worn, are still holding.
