Hi! This is Pastor Maylan Schurch wishing our fabulous club a glorious Oshkosh experience. I've alerted the leaders to the fact that this coming Sabbath (August 8) as part of the brief communion sermon, we're going to be inviting every Oshkosh-bound person present (Pathfinders, leaders, parents) to come to the front of the Bellevue church sanctuary for a special prayer.
I've sent out an e-mail to our church e-mail list with the Camporee blog link, urging them to click it often and read the entries. I've also placed the link at the top of our church website homepage, www.bellevueadventist.org.
I'm intrigued by the "Esther" theme--it seems exactly what not only young people but everyone else needs to focus on during these very interesting days of earth's history. -- Pastor Maylan
